bowls & trimming will explore the process and aesthetics of making and trimming bowls such that the process is easier, more enjoyable and that the vessel shines forth with your own creativity. the class will meet once a month on a Monday - January 29, February 19, March 11 and April 1 from 6-8pm. a different style will be approached each week (throwing and trimming). the time between classes allows everyone to practice the new skills prior to the next class. prerequisite: able to center and pull a cylinder. click the link for additional information.

workshops taught by conner burns in his personal studio. this workshop will focus on trays, specifically what conner calls - wavy trays. his trays are often 24 inches long and only a few inches wide and tall, but he will show many different variations of shorter lengths - you can choose what to make. techniques of throwing and slab attachments will be included. for additional information - visit the link.

the natchez project is a gathering of 4 clay artist in the studio of conner burns for the purpose of connection and creation. conner invites 3 artists to join him in his studio for a week of uninhibited creation. at the end of this week, the public is invited to the studio - to see the work in process, to see completed work and to meet the artists. it is one night only for just a few hours - and always great event. plan to join us.
