empty bowls benefit

this bi-annual event always sells out early. so get your tickets early.
100% of the ticket price goes to the stewpot in natchez, a facility that faithfully serves food to the hungry in our community.
how does this work? local and regional potters donate bowls for this event. with each ticket ($25) that you buy, you get to come to natchez clay, choose a handmade bowl, get it filled with gumbo (or if you prefer you can get it to go) and enjoy the gumbo that day and the bowl forever (it is yours to keep). a reminder that there are many with empty bowls in our community.
the natchez stewpot is diligent in their efforts to feed the hungry and would appreciate your support both in this event and in any way that you would like to help.

a demonstration workshop where conner will show the manner in which he creates his vessels. this workshop will consist of demonstrations on the potters wheel as well as the manner in which conner combines and alters wheel thrown work and slab components to create individual vessels and to create sets (or groupings) of vessels. the workshop is a demonstration workshop and conner will certainly take requests for forms to make and will also discuss how he develops the forms aesthetically.
