if you are interested in mixing your own glazes but need more knowledge then this is for you.

this workshop will focus on the basics of mixing glazes:

- using a scale
- mixing from a recipe
- locating recipes that work with your firing type
- categorizing ingredients
- keeping glazes in suspension
- safety equipment
- mixing equipment
- additional relevent topics.

who should take this workshop?
this class is appropriate for the person that has no knowledge about mixing glazes as well as the person that has limited knowledge or desires a refresher course.

will there be more glaze classes?
this is the first in a series of glaze workshops at burns pottery. each glaze workshop will build upon the information from the previous workshop.

natchez clay maintains a small class size to insure individual instruction, so register early.

a respirator (if you own one), and a notebook.
